I think this app is best for somewhere like NYC where there many pizza options (especially within walking distance). If youre not living in a big city, well, is it really that useful then? Probably not.

If you like pizza and are in an unfamiliar area, this app makes finding a slice way easier than other offerings such as yelp. The graphics (especially the picture of the slice that is the compass needle) could be better, but that doesnt affect functionality.

All this does is show all pizza places in the area. The recommendations it shows Ive tried and dislike. Ive lived in Chicago and NY and I know good pizza. The place rated #1 to them in my area wanted to sell my wifes cake. When her price was too high for them they asked her to use cheaper ingrediants. My wife refused. They must use those "cheaper ingrediants" in their pizza because its crap.

Works best if foursquares data is correct

Decided to test this app out in the middle of NYC, the pizza Capitol of the world. I was interested to see if my favorite spots would pop up. NOT ONE PIZZA PLACE!?!? How is that possible!? Major disappointment from a major pizza lover.

I thought this would be cool but it doesnt find any pizza around me at all. I wonder what all those places that sell round, crusty, cheesy things are selling near me? Hmmmm.

I live in NYC and there are literally a dozen pizza places within a 2 block radius of me and it still says "no pizza found" Also, there is a "try again" button but it does nothing when you press it. Could have been a good idea but the app is worthless. Dont bother unless they fix the problems.

I am literally standing in front of a Lou Malnattis location. This app states there is no pizza in the area. Worthless.

Its exactly what it claims to be. An app that uses the foursquare API to hone in on the nearest pizza place. Perfect for the inner Ninja Turtle in all of us. If youre a foursquare user interested in leveling up your Pizzaiolo badge, this app is magic. It turns up a lot of places that dont show in the 4sq search. Youll be level 10 in no time. Now they just need to make an app for all the other badges.

... This is the app. I just want that slice, it needs to be now, it needs to be close. This app cleverly shapes a slice a pizza like a compass, and shows you where the closest slice is at. Need a Vegan compass for my girlfriend, then my life is complete.

Why hasnt there been apps for this before. Good concept good execution great tasting.

This app has my location in the ocean next to Africa. Im in Phoenix AZ!!! Needless to say no pizza is found in the ocean. Glad I didnt pay for this or would be very upset. Should have a zip code or state search button. If that happened I would definitely use because I cant use it now.

There is no way to manually enter an address to find pizza. The app doesnt work unless you agree to let it track your location even while youre not using the app. Disgusting. There is no reason a pizza app would need to monitor my every move. Wasted download.

Exactly as advertised, Pizza Compass points the way to the nearest pizza restaurant. It also gives directions, reviews, phone numbers for the places, and pinpoints the location on a map.
